Reinhardt University invites applications for the position of Vice President for Enrollment Management & Marketing. The VPEM&M reports to the president and leads the key enrollment offices on campus including traditional admissions, professional studies and graduate admissions, marketing and financial aid to meet enrollment goals for the institution. This includes developing recruitment plans and marketing strategies to attract new students to Reinhardt University. Top candidates will bring at least ten years of progressive experience in higher education enrollment management, revealing a steady increase in responsibility and title. Candidates will also demonstrate best practice knowledge and skill in all areas of proposed oversight and show success in growing enrollment in quality and quantity at a four-year institution- preferably within the private, independent college setting.  

Responsibilities & Duties:  

  • Leads university enrollment efforts to include overseeing the key offices of traditional admissions, professional studies and graduate admissions, marketing and student financial aid.  

  • Analyzes data and develops strategic goals for enrollment that support the University's Strategic Plan.  

  • Shapes and enrolls a diverse new student class each year which includes growing the academic profile of the student population.  

  • Utilizes and implements the use of technology to communicate to key constituents.  

  • Ensures that admissions and financial aid operations and processes are efficient and effective.  

  • Works collaboratively with the admissions committee and other university committees to set admissions criteria for all prospective students.  

  • Builds strong partnerships with high schools in our primary markets, businesses, technical colleges, and community organizations to support enrollment.  

  • Works with the executive leadership team to establish and execute enrollment goals for the institution and development of new programs.  

  • Monitors and manages institutional aid and establishes financial aid policies that support enrollment goals and meet budget expectations.  

  • Works with the Office of Student Financial Aid to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.  

  • Builds a financial aid leveraging strategy each year to recruit the new student class.  

  • Directs the Student Operations Committee to improve student operations and customer service.  

  • Works closely with Deans and faculty to develop individualized program marketing and recruitment plans.  

  • Develops marketing strategies to build brand awareness and Reinhardt University's reputation in the state and region.  

  • Manages the overall enrollment management and marketing budgets.  

  • Supports efforts to grow adult, on-line, and graduate enrollments.  

  • Guides direction for successful onboarding enrollment into new programs.  

  • Develops yearly enrollment projections for institutional budget planning.  

  • Communicates enrollment updates to Executive Leadership team and campus community.  

  • Supports retention strategies and initiatives to help meet enrollment targets.  

  • Develops yearly recruitment plans with enrollment leadership team.  

  • Researches and monitors new trends and activities for new student recruitment and develops innovative ways to attract student populations to Reinhardt.  

Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate:  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  

  • Ability to develop and articulate strategic plans that support the mission and vision of the institution  

  • Knowledge of enrollment management principles  

  • Strong communication skills for leading a team, working with prospective students and families, and working with university partners including board members, faculty, staff, students, and other administrators  

  • Knowledge of enrollment technology, student information systems, and use of customer relationship systems to support operations, marketing, and recruitment  

  • Collegiality, integrity, and good will.   


Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution required; at least ten years of leadership experience in college admissions or enrollment management with proven success in growing enrollment.
