Position Summary

NYU's prestigious Leonard N. Stern School of Business has an opportunity for an Assistant Director of Executive Education. This position will serve as an account manager for the group's non-degree programs and assist the Director of Global Executive Education in business development, relationship management and ensuring the smooth delivery of programs held at NYU Stern and Executive Education locations off site. Planning, staffing and managing the logistics and operations of multiple non-degree custom programs, plus special events will be included. Other responsibilities include responding to client inquiries, attending client meetings, creating proposals, engaging appropriate faculty, contracting and managing e-payments for faculty, collecting and organizing program materials, coordinating program logistics, and serving as program manager for designated non-degree programs. S/he will work in permanent interface with clients, participants and faculty, on-campus support staff and outside vendors, and will serve as the main point of contact for all matters relating to client management and program delivery in consultation with the Director.

Qualifications

Candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree along with 3 years increasingly responsible professional level experience in relationship management, customer service, learning and development, special events, student affairs, operations, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ability to develop the Stern School's relationships with corporate firms and individual attendees in order to increase interest and participation in executive education programs is required. Excellent presentation, networking, and written and verbal communication skills essential. The ability to demonstrate cultural awareness is also required. The ability to liaise across a variety of stakeholders and wear multiple hats of responsibility is preferred.
