Associate Director, Dartmouth College Fund Stewardship and Donor Recognition
Dartmouth College seeks an Associate Director to manage the cultivation, stewardship, and donor recognition initiatives for the Dartmouth College Fund. The Dartmouth College Fund seeks to reinvigorate its existing stewardship and develop new programs to increase donors upgrading their giving amounts and improve donor retention rates by enhancing the donors' experience and synchronizing efforts with the solicitation schedules. The Associate Director will work with others to craft a donor experience appreciated by the community of donors that encourages annual participation and increases the membership of the leadership-level 1769 Society.
The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree with experience in developing and executing annual giving programs and multi-staged plans to enhance the donor/customer experience and illustrate the impact of their gifts. This position will require a high level of collaboration with the annual fund staff, front-line officers, and volunteers to negotiate marketing and involvement in events; a high level of creativity to create a strategy and annual marketing plans for cultivation, stewardship, and donor recognition for donors at all gift levels and stages of loyalty; excellent project management experience along with strong knowledge of information systems; demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills; and a strong commitment to customer service. The ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment will be essential to success.
