SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Enrollment Funnel Management Specialist & Marketing Coordinator’s primary role will be funnel management by utilizing automation and responding quickly to prospective students and ensuring that follow up communications are scheduled and completed in a timely manner. The Enrollment Funnel Management Specialist & Marketing Coordinator will manage external prospect lists and ensure that they are integrated into the admissions pipeline and communicated with in a timely fashion. The Enrollment Funnel Management Specialist & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for implementing recruitment and marketing strategies designed to support enrollment goals and brand awareness initiatives for Schreiner University. Strong communication skills are essential for the success of this position and include both written and verbal abilities. The Enrollment Funnel Management Specialist & Marketing Coordinator participates in an aggressive recruitment strategy which supports Schreiner University’s objectives to identify and recruit an increasing population of enrolled students. The Enrollment Funnel Management Specialist & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible planning, coordinating, execution and management of event communications for the Office of Admission.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Facilitates effective funnel management by utilizing automation in the JRM database and responding quickly to prospective students and ensuring that follow-up communications are scheduled and completed in a timely manner.

  • Using the JRM database, creates and manages enrollment communication workflows for student recruitment; and create and manage communication tasks for Admission Counselors.

  • Create and monitor student recruitment tasks for admission counselors.

  • Ensure recruitment and communication tasks are completed in a timely manner and hold admissions counselors accountable for completing their tasks.

  • Create and manage online internal and external inquiry and RSVP forms using Form Assembly to ensure accurate integration into the communication system.

  • Ensure communication campaigns are executed and documented effectively in the communication system.

  • Develops and executes communications campaigns/flows and analyzes campaign analytic reports.

  • Assists admission staff with the marketing of campus visits and recruiting events such as Schreiner Saturday, Juniors in June and other activities as required.

  • Works closely with the marketing team and stakeholders on and off campus to implement recruitment and marketing strategies designed to support enrollment goals

  • Assists with execution and oversight of enrollment campaigns and marketing strategies to support enrollment, academic, athletic and varsity programs.

  • Oversees and maintains inventory of print publications and promotional items for recruiting.

  • Writes content for outbound communications, including e-mail campaigns, social media, promotional materials, video projects and website content.

  • Plan, coordinate and execute event communications for the Office of Admission.

  • Support the planning, implementation and execution of new recruitment strategies and initiatives.

  • Manage all mailings for the Office of Admission.

  • Occasional overnight travel for meetings, trainings and events is required.

  • Provide exemplary internal and external customer service to Schreiner University’s faculty, staff and prospective students and their families.

  • Assume added projects, responsibilities or other duties as assigned by the Director of Admission.

  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality concerning all matters in the Office of Admission.

  • Works closely with the Operations & Data Management team.

  • Ability to work closely with the Director of Admission to onboard and train Admission Counselors on database and task management.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field preferred.

  • Experience working in higher education.

  • Computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access) Internet, Email, and student information system (JRM/Salesforce).

  • Demonstrate the ability to use data, analyze results, identify trends and develop strategies using a CRM database.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, editing and proofreading with a strong focus on attention to detail.

  • Willing and able to travel.

  • Strong customer service skills. Ability to create goodwill with university students and stakeholders.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize daily activities, exercise necessary follow up, and be detail oriented with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and public relation skills.

  • Self-starter with a positive attitude.

  • High confidentiality level required.

  • Use of sound judgement, maturity and responsibility.

  • Must have a valid Texas driver’s license, related insurance and good driving record.
