Postdoctoral fellow position is open immediately to study mechanism of inflammasome activation and the role of inflammasome in the regulation of lung injury, repair and fibrosis. The major focus of the lab is to delineate the role of metabolic, transcriptional, and epigenetic dysregulations in various types of pulmonary cells in lung injury, repair and fibrosis. Highly motivated applicants with strong background in innate immunity, cellular metabolism, mitochondrial biology, and molecular biology are expected. Experience with genetically modified mice is preferred. Successful candidate should be able to design, perform and interpret experiments, and to write manuscripts for publication and presentation.
